Stephen T. O'Neill
Stephen T. O'Neill received his Juris Doctor degree in 1984 from the University of California's Hastings College of the Law. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1980.
Since joining the Firm in 1986, Mr. O'Neill has been involved in every phase of the Firm's practice, including the representation of Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 7 debtors, creditors' committees, assignees in Assignment for Benefit of Creditors ("ABCs") and representing companies in out-of-court workouts. During the last ten years, Mr. O'Neill's Chapter 11 clients have included Internet Home Services, Inc., Gazoontite, Flywheel Communications, Inc., XMR, Inc., Digicash, Inc., Age Wave Communications Corporation, and Merchant Land Fund I, LLC.
Mr. O'Neill is a member of the State Bar of California, the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum, the Congressman Don Edwards Inns of Court and The Turnaround Management Association. Mr. O'Neill is also a frequent lecturer to legal and professional organizations on all aspects of insolvency law. Mr. O'Neill was named a Super Lawyer by San Francisco Magazine in 2006 and 2007.
Mr. O'Neill is a long-time resident of the Bay Area with his wife, Elaine, and their daughter, Monica, and son, Daniel.
