Laurent Chen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University, his Juris Doctor degree from University of California, Davis School of Law, and his Master in Business Administration degree from University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

Prior to joining Murray & Murray, Mr. Chen practiced as a trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee.  Mr. Chen also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Maureen A. Tighe of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and as a trial and appellate law clerk to the Honorable Christopher M. Klein of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California and former Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Chen is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area and the State Bar of California.
