Doris A. Kaelin
Doris A. Kaelin received her Bachelor of Science Degree, with Great Distinction, from San Jose State University in 1987, and her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1992.
Prior to joining Murray & Murray, Ms. Kaelin practiced in the area of general business law with an emphasis on debtor-creditor rights. From 1995 - 1997, Ms. Kaelin served as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable James R. Grube (Ret.), United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of California.
Since joining Murray & Murray, Ms. Kaelin has been active in the firm’s bankruptcy and insolvency practice. She has lectured for the Santa Clara County Bar Association and served as an adjunct professor of law on bankruptcy at Peninsula University School of Law.
Ms. Kaelin is a member of the State Bar of California and the Congressman Don Edwards Inn of the American Inns of Court. Ms. Kaelin has also served on the Bench-Bar Liaison Committee for the Northern District of California and the Women Lawyers’ Committee of the Palo Alto Area Bar Association.
Ms. Kaelin resides in Santa Cruz with her husband, Steve. She enjoys spending time with their Akitas, reading and mountain bike riding.
