Craig M. Prim.

Craig M. Prim received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Santa Clara University in 1974 and his Juris Doctor degree from Boalt Hall (University of California, Berkeley) in 1977.

Since he joined the Firm in 1979, Mr. Prim has specialized in insolvency and business reorganizations. Mr. Prim retired after 27 years of practice in 2004 but returned to the Firm in 2008 as counsel.

In addition to representing debtors, Chapter 11 Trustees, and secured and unsecured creditors, Mr. Prim has represented a number of creditors committees in Chapter 11 cases and informal workout proceedings. Outside of formal judicial proceedings, he has reorganized companies in informal workouts and assisted them in liquidation and dissolutions. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of industries including high technology, real estate, hotels, manufacturing, and retail sales.

He is a frequent lecturer on the subject and has participated on panels on "Bankruptcy Reorganizations (Chapter 11)" and "Counseling Creditors of Distressed Businesses Before and During Bankruptcy". He has also lectured on a number of other bankruptcy related issues for local law firms, the California Continuing Education of the Bar, the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association, the Association of Insolvency Accountants and the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum and has been qualified as an expert witness in Bankruptcy Law.

He is a member of the State Bar of California and a former director of the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum and member of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the San Francisco Bar Association. He was appointed by the local Bankruptcy Judges to, and served as co-chair of, the Bench Bar Liaison Committee for the Northern District of California and has also served on the United States Trustee Chapter 11 Liaison Committee in San Jose, California. He has served as a Resolution Advocate for the Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Program and was listed in The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Prim and his wife, Tracey, reside in Meadow Vista, California, and are both avid golfers.
